Ok My people we are right in the middle of summer. So if you are not at a BBQ, your are hitting the flea markets. Or if you are anything like me – we are attending both.
Flea markets, yard sales can be hard because all of the supper great stuff, like the Mid Century Modern gems are priced high. That is why I compiled this little piece of inspiration, sparking you to think outside the box when it comes to the ‘mark downs’ that you find at flea markets, and yard sales. With some imagination, sweat, paint, new fabric, and not to mention sweat, you can turn your 2 dollar find into to treasure. Below are some wonderful ideas in up-cycling to get you going.
So now, with these idea in tote you should be ready to go find a piece of tin and turn it into a table? 😉 Just kidding, But I WOULD love it if you see some cool up-cycling ideas that either you have done, or you have found online, post it here in the comments section. If you are in CHI – you can get started on your flea market adventure this weekend at – Randolph Street Market .
